Sven Klose

Sven Klose serves as the German Co-Director of the Sino-German International Economic Law Institute at Tongji University. Before this role, he worked as legal counsel for a leading German car manufacturer in the automotive industry.

He studied law at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and Tsinghua University in Beijing, where he developed a strong foundation in international and comparative law. Building on this, he earned his master’s degree from Tsinghua Law School following his first judicial examination.

With experience at prominent law firms and institutions in Germany and abroad, and as a Senior Editor for the Tsinghua Law Review, Sven combines legal expertise with a global perspective. Fluent in Chinese, English, and German, he focuses on cross-cultural communication in complex legal environments.

As a mediator and active member of ProBono Legal Counseling in Freiburg, Sven is passionate about innovative legal solutions and impactful collaboration.
